Who is Helms not for?

Helms isn't for you if most of your clients are on Android, if you need an Apple Watch app, or if you want a platform that sends you clients. It's also a young product from one founder, so you'd be an early customer.

The gaps

There's no Android client app. Clients use an iPhone or the web app, which can be added to an Android home screen, but there's no Play Store listing.

There's no Apple Watch app.

The coach side is web first. It works in a phone browser, but it isn't a native app the way the client side is.

Helms won't find you clients. There's a lead pipeline, forms and funnels for the people you already reach, and no marketplace sending you new ones.

It doesn't take payments itself. You need your own Stripe or GoCardless account. That's deliberate, and it also means one more account to set up.

Zoom links and WhatsApp messaging aren't switched on yet. Both are built and waiting on the accounts behind them.

It won't write your programmes. The AI is blocked in code from authoring one on its own, so if you want a tool that does the coaching, this isn't it.

Size

Helms is a young product built by one person. If you need a vendor with a hundred staff and a decade of history, pick one of the bigger platforms.

Who it suits

A coach who runs their own client list, wants one bill, and cares that a set logged in a gym with no signal doesn't disappear. You can export a client's whole record from their page on any plan, Free included: plans, every logged set, check-ins, progress photos, biomarkers, supplements and messages.
