Check-ins and progress tracking in Helms
Can I make my own check-in forms in Helms?
Yes. Helms has custom weekly and daily check-in forms, and you can add fields for one client without changing everyone else's.
Start freeDoes Helms send check-in reminders automatically?
Yes. Helms reminds clients about daily check-ins at a time you set, and about weekly ones the night before, two hours before and again if they're late.
Reminders go out in the app, by email, and by push notification on the iPhone app.
Can I compare progress photos side by side?
Yes. Helms lets you and the client put progress photos from any two dates side by side.
Does Helms show bodyweight averages?
Yes. Helms shows 7-day and 30-day rolling bodyweight averages, so a single heavy morning doesn't read as a trend.
Can clients track their menstrual cycle in check-ins?
Yes. You can switch on cycle tracking for a client, which adds cycle day and symptoms to their daily check-in and gives you a cycle view on their page.
Does Helms connect to Apple Health or wearables?
Helms reads Apple Health on iPhone to fill in steps, heart rate, sleep and bodyweight. Garmin, Fitbit, Oura and WHOOP connections are built but not switched on yet, and there's no Google Fit or Health Connect.
If wearable data is central to your coaching, TrueCoach lists Garmin, Fitbit, Oura, Google Fit, Polar, Apple Health and WHOOP on its Standard and Pro plans (TrueCoach wearables FAQ).
How do I know when a client skips a session?
Helms tells you the morning after a client misses a planned session, once, by push and in the app. The roster also shows who has gone quiet, and the check-in queue puts the ones that need a look first.
A session the client moved to another day isn't counted as missed.
Can clients track habits?
Yes. You set habits for your business that clients can pick up, and clients can add their own and tick them off, offline too. Habits don't send reminders yet.
Can I track blood work in Helms?
Yes. Helms holds full biomarker panels, can pull the numbers out of a blood-test PDF with AI, and explains each marker from human reviews on PubMed with the citations kept.
Where the research won't support an explanation, Helms shows nothing rather than something plausible.
