Helms

The AI in Helms: what it does, and the coaching it won't do

Will the Helms AI write programmes for me?

No. The Helms AI can only add exercises you named or copy a template you wrote, and it's blocked in code from inventing a programme on its own.

Around forty placeholder values, like "TBD", "coach to fill" and "auto-generate", are rejected before they can be saved at all. The refusal lives in the code, so there's no setting to switch off by accident.

Does the AI message my clients on its own?

Never. The Helms AI drafts a message and hands it back to you, and nothing reaches a client without your say-so.

Can I run my coaching business from Claude?

Yes, on every Helms plan including Free. Helms runs an MCP server, so you can point your own Claude or Codex at your account and find a client, adjust a meal, check the roster or draft a message in plain English.

It runs on your own AI account, which is why it costs me nothing to give away on Free.

What AI features are on each Helms plan?

Free includes running Helms from your own Claude. Coach adds meal-photo logging, an AI mentor chat for your clients and voice-note transcripts, and Studio adds the agent chat, client insights, a voice mini-coach and content ideas from a YouTube link.

Prices are on the pricing page.

Which AI model does Helms use?

Helms uses Anthropic's Claude models for its AI features and Groq's Whisper for transcribing voice notes and video clips. Both are named in the privacy policy.

Can the AI tell me which clients are slipping?

Yes, on Studio and Team. You ask in plain English who's slipping this week, and the Helms agent answers from your real client data and drafts the follow-up for you to confirm.
