Group sessions, coaching teams and booking in Helms
Can I run group or semi-private sessions in Helms?
Yes. You set a session type with a number of places, put it in the diary once or weekly for up to twelve more weeks, and clients book their own place from the app.
When it's full the next client joins the waitlist, and if somebody drops out the person at the top takes the place and is told automatically. Cancel a session and every place is released at once.

Yes. Helms runs in-person group sessions with a location, tracks session packs with their usage and expiry, and keeps the same client record for online and in-person work.
It doesn't take payment for a booking or a pack. That stays on your own Stripe or GoCardless.
Can I run a team of coaches on Helms?
Yes. The Helms Team plan includes three coach seats, each set as full, assistant or read-only, and each coach works the clients assigned to them.
The owner sees the whole client list, sees who each client is with and can reassign them.
Can two coaches share one client in Helms?
No. In Helms each client is assigned to one coach at a time, and the owner of the business can reassign them to another coach.
Is Helms gym management software?
No. Helms has no door access, class timetable for hundreds of members or front-desk till, so a gym chain wants gym management software instead.
Does Helms have a community or group chat for clients?
Yes. Helms has a community feed with posts and comments, a lessons library, courses with drip content and group-call events with RSVPs, plus group message threads with clients you pick.
Community size goes with the plan: about 10 members on Free, 30 on Coach, 75 on Studio and no cap on Team. There's also a coach-only team chat.
Does Helms have a booking page?
Yes. Each coach gets a booking page at book.usehelms.com with their own link, and bookings appear in your Helms diary.
It doesn't take payment at booking, and Zoom links aren't switched on yet. Helms can show events from your own calendar if you add its iCal link.
Can Helms capture leads and enquiries?
Yes. Helms has public intake and enquiry forms that drop into a lead pipeline, and Studio and Team add a funnel builder.
Leads from Instagram DMs can come in through ManyChat if you already use it. Helms doesn't send you new clients, because it isn't a marketplace.
